This figure shows the age-standardised notification rates for chlamydial infection from 2009 to 2014, by Indigenous status, for the states and territories where Indigenous status was reported for more than 50% of cases: the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia. Except for Tasmania, notification rates for Indigenous people were higher than for non-Indigenous people and increased overall over the six year period. However, while higher than 2009, Indigenous rates have declined in Western Australia and Queensland since 2011.
