This figure shows the age-standardised notification rates for gonococcal infection from 2009 to 2014, by Indigenous status, for the states and territories where Indigenous status was reported for more than 50% of cases, which were all jurisdictions except New South Wales. Notification rates were highest for Indigenous people from the Northern Territory, followed by Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland. Furthermore, non-Indigenous rates were much lower than Indigenous rates in these jurisdictions.
