Adequate faecal collection from cases of acute flaccid paralysis in Australia 1995 to 2012, compared to the World Health Organization (WHO) surveillance performance criterion. Australia has never reached the 80% surveillance target for adequate faecal specimens and reported a rate of 29% in 2012.
