Health’s Gender Equality and Flexibility Blueprint 2017-20 (the Blueprint) has been developed in response to the APSC’s Balancing the future: The Australian Public Service gender equality strategy 2016-19.
The Blueprint aligns with the four priority areas of the APS Gender Equality Strategy:
- Driving a supportive and enabling workplace culture
- Increasing uptake of flexible work arrangements by all staff
- Achieving and sustaining gender equality in leadership
- Working innovatively to embed gender equality in employment practices
Health’s Blueprint is about creating an inclusive and flexible workplace culture where working flexibly is the norm, for all genders and all levels, and it is not seen as a barrier to career progression.
