Description of clinic
The GP Plus Super Clinic Noarlunga comprises a number of purpose built and refurbished facilities located in the Noarlunga Health Precinct and is immediately adjacent to the Noarlunga Hospital's Emergency Department.
The clinic opened on 13 March 2012.
Services
Multidisciplinary care
The clinic is providing general practice, nursing (including specialist roles), dietetics, social work, counselling, psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, exercise physiology, private podiatry and exercise physiology services.
The clinic also provides public dental services, pathology collection, sexual health services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services, women's health services, early childhood development services, drug and alcohol services, community mental health services, services for young people (including SHine SA and also the adjacent Headspace [mental health services for young people]), continence and wound management (Royal District Nursing Service), and cardiac, liver, immunisation and sleep disorders clinics.

Preventative services
Services are provided that have a specific focus on prevention and early intervention. These include regional
Eat Well Be Active strategies to prevent chronic health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease; strategies to promote and maintain good mental health, particularly in young adults and older people; support for families experiencing multiple levels of disadvantage; family violence prevention programs; lifestyle modification programs and clean needle exchange services.
Health needs and priorities
The clinic has identified diabetes, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, mental health, early childhood development and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health as priority areas for services.
Quality
The GP service is accredited, and the public health services meet the relevant professional and service industry frameworks as required by the SA Government. The clinic has a wide range of policies, procedures and manuals to assist with quality service provision.

GP Plus Super Clinic Noarlunga Services: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (Thursdays to 8.00pm) Closed on weekends and public holidays.

Billing arrangements
GPs bulk bill children under 16, Health Care Card and Concession Card holders.
State funded public services are free.
Home visits
Home visits for some services may be available subject to the appropriate service guidelines of the provider agency.
Clinical training arrangements
The GP service is an accredited teaching practice for GP trainees and registrars. Clinical placements for medical (undergraduate, intern, registered medical officers and medical registrars) and dental students have commenced.
Primary health services also regularly host allied health students in their final year placements.
