Clinical training arrangements
The Playford GP Super Clinic has a strong focus on training and inter-professional learning.
In collaboration with the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia, a significant number of clinical training placements are being facilitated across a range of disciplines including general practice, nursing, psychology, pharmacy, physiotherapy, exercise therapy, podiatry, occupational therapy and medical radiation.
A new two-storey dedicated teaching and training facility to be established under an Australian Government Innovative Clinical Teaching and Training Grant (ICTTG)has recently completed construction next to the GP Super Clinic. It is physically linked to, and work collaboratively with, the GP Super Clinic. This will increase capacity to undertake teaching and training and so support the future primary care workforce.
