Child and Adolescent Community Health (CACH)
Child and Adolescent Community Health (CACH) provide universal hearing screening at school-entry and targeted ear health services for Aboriginal children from birth.

Community Child Health Nurses
Community child health nurses provide a series of universal scheduled contacts. At each of these visits, communication skills (speech, language and hearing) are reviewed. Parents are also provided with information regarding the importance of communication strategies to promote speech and language development.

Child Development Services (CDS) Speech Pathology
If required, referrals from Community Child Health Nurses can be made to CDS speech pathology and/or audiology.

Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH) Speech Pathology Department
The Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH) Speech Pathology Department has policies and processes in place to support the effective and active transition of patients to local community services where they require ongoing care. The Speech Pathology Department also facilitates access to services for families who may not be eligible for the tertiary level service at PMH.
