There are two lines of data, one for patients who are not insured and one for patients who are insured. “Surcharge changes” is marked on each line at October 2008. The number of public patient separations for patients not insured has remained relatively stable increasing from 100 in July 2007 to approximately 105 in March 2009 and then remaining steady to June 2009. There has been a steady increase in the number of public patient separations for insured patients from 100 in June 2008 to approximately 107 in June 2009.
