Summary of Presentations on HPV DNA QA Project

In order to further disseminate information and promote the importance of quality assurance for the testing of HPV DNA, members of the HPV committee will be presenting the information from this pilot study to participants and other interested parties for comment and feedback for future surveys.

  • 20th June, 2008 – oral presentation of ‘HPV DNA Quality Assurance Pilot Study’ at the New Zealand Institute of Medical Laboratory Science, Immunology Special Interest Group Seminar (NZISIG) 2008. Deane Byers, RCPA Serology QAP.
  • 2nd - 5th July, 2008 – oral presentation and poster titled ‘HPV DNA Quality Assurance Pilot Study’ at the 25th NRL Workshop on Serology in Melbourne, including an oral presentation on the 5th July. Ros Escott, RCPA Serology QAP
  • 6th July, 2008 – oral presentation of ‘Human Papillomavirus DNA testing methodology and Quality Assurance’ at the Serology Sunday Workshop – part of the annual The Australian Society for Microbiology (ASM) 2008, Scientific Meeting & Exhibition in Melbourne.
