Annual report of the Australian Meningococcal Surveillance Programme, 2007

The National Neisseria Network has operated a national laboratory-based program for the examination of Neisseria meningitidis from cases of invasive meningococcal disease since 1994. Annual reports are published each year. In 2007 there were 242 laboratory-confirmed cases of invasive meningococcal disease analysed by the National Neisseria Network.
